Welcome to Stretton State College.

As the Foundation College Director, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our website. Since the school opened in 2006 with 330 students from Preparatory Year to Year 7, we have grown to a population of 1050 students from Prep to Year 10 in 2008.

During this time, our school community has worked hard to establish this school as a school with high expectations. Underpinning our school philosophy, is the values program that has been implemented throughout the school. We believe very strongly in the values program and I encourage you to visit the Values page on this website to fully understand the importance of the Stretton Spirit within our school.

The school also holds high expectations in regard to student application to their academic studies, behaviour levels in the classroom and in the school grounds, dress codes, and submission of assessment. It is our belief that these high standards are of benefit to the school and all those within it, as most importantly, they assist in maintaining our school’s positive reputation in the community.
